The new Face Recognition function remembers faces automatically and will optimise focus and exposure settings by prioritising on the registered person’s face. Movie iA is also available, controlling MEGA O.I.S., Intelligent Scene Selector, Face Detection AF/AE, and Intelligent Exposure.

The Panasonic TZ7 can record stunning HD movies in AVCHD Lite, which lets you shoot beautiful HD video with around twice the recording time than Motion JPEG. Also the optical zoom can be used when shooting. The Panasonic Lumix TZ7 is also the world's first compact camera to feature Dolby® Digital Stereo Creator, which can record dynamic audio that brings out the best of the HD video.
